Mr. Sorensen started his career as a flight-systems engineer where he learned the importance of robust problem solving and quality assurance. He then turned his focus to the business world where he applied his expertise to business management consulting and healthcare management. Most recently Mr. Sorensen served as a senior executive at UnitedHealth Group in their Medicare health insurance business, the leading private Medicare program in the nation. Mr. Sorensen holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Dakota and a Masters in Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
